In the Yazoo River north of Vicksburg, Mississippi:

For the first time in history, a ship was sunk by an electrically detonated torpedo (ie, underwater mine),
the Union ironclad gunboat USS Cairo was sunk on 12/12/1862

          So Admiral Sims was chose,
          He came into the British Isles
          And viewed the "Sub" campaign,
          Just send my old torpedo boats
          Right back to me again.
