Subject: Whats on From: Merek'n'Dary Date: 13 Dec 05 - 06:14 AM We are coming to the end of our current season. One more date to go - our Christmas Party with the Backroom Boys, a versatile duo from Coventry who can be guaranteed to give us a lively night. This is on Wednesday 21st Dec, The Millers Bar, The Mill Banbury @ £5/£3 concession. A contribution of party nibbles would be appreciated. The club opens again on 4th January with The Oddsods, another lively band, doing mainly Irish numbers. The club meets every Wednesday and we would be glad to welcome performing catters as we have floorspots as well as the weekly guests. Merry Crimble Merek'n'Dary |

Subject: RE: Ride a Cock Horse Folk Club Banbury From: Adrianl Date: 06 Jan 06 - 02:51 PM It was a great night on Wednesday for the first Club Night of the year with the Odd Sods. And some super floor spots. Next week sounds good with Clare Trivett & Fred Davis. A good chance to see these ex Clarion musicians, Fred (from the Boxhedge Clippers)on guitar and vocals and the excellent fiddle playing of Clare. The new seasons programme is on the website Ride a Cock Horse Folk Club and Spring 2006 Guest List Hope to see you there Adrian |
