I've come across that song (also sung by Celine Dion) again and would like to know more about the origin of this song. In previous threads this question was not really answered. Does anyone know more about it?
(I know it's supposed to be a Canadian/French raditional)

"Les Cloches du Hameau," music arranged by Ric Wake, Shane Keister, Ronn Huff; created 1998, copyright 1999.
Tune borrowed in part from Brahms(?).

Not Traditional as far as I can find out. The words are a peculiar mix of Canadian French and English.

On the cd "These Are Special times." Clip of the song at Amazon. The tune is familiar but I can't identify it off-hand.

'Chanter dans les prairies'- Please don't!
