Fossils themselves are remarkable and tell us much but I find the thought of fossilised footprints really wonderous.

The idea that the movement in one moment of an individual animal's life can be preserved for tens of millions of years is quite something.

There are some tracks in a big flat rock near Atlanta Michigan, like 5 or 6 steps. You can clearly see a heel and ball of a foot in each track , the strides being about 6 feet apart and 2 feet wide. It makes my hair stand on end when I think of what the critter that made them must have been like.

As the Earth is only 6,000 years old, such things are clearly tricks by the Devil to fool the gullible. Honestly, to insult the intelligence of nearly half of the American population with such inflamatory drivel...
Why, next you'll be saying that it's remarkable that no WMDs were found in Iraq.
