Subject: RE: The Geordie Song Book on EBAY From: fiddler Date: 24 Dec 05 - 05:43 PM Aye guys I wil be watching it so pm me if need be, I don't want to push the price up either - a photocopy (or preferably scan) of the publication would do me so co operation eh! Andy |
Subject: RE: The Geordie Song Book on EBAY From: fiddler Date: 28 Dec 05 - 02:58 PM So are the two bids any of us 23 hours to go? Shall I bid for it? Andy |
Subject: RE: The Geordie Song Book on EBAY From: GUEST,vectis Date: 28 Dec 05 - 03:09 PM One of the bidders was me but the present winner has got a maximum bid set up to outbid others. You need to bid in the last second or two to get it cheaply. Failing that you'll have to outbid him/her. I'm not going to auto bid in case it pushes the price up to silly money. Pity I wanted a copy of that but haven't seen one recently but I'm not desparate to own one. |
Subject: RE: The Geordie Song Book on EBAY From: WFDU - Ron Olesko Date: 28 Dec 05 - 03:33 PM Of course discussing it on an open forum such as this will also invite more bidders!! |

Subject: RE: The Geordie Song Book on EBAY From: Malcolm Douglas Date: 28 Dec 05 - 09:36 PM Conrad Bladey, I think? After all these years, he seems finally to have managed to put up a set of webpages that have logical links, and which you can look at without taking painkillers. Well done, Conrad. |
Subject: RE: The Geordie Song Book on EBAY From: Emma B Date: 29 Dec 05 - 06:20 AM Thanks for the link Hazel - it looks as though I have the C E Catchside - Warrington book (vol 111) pictured on that site with a preface from South Gosforth Christmas 1913! Volumes 11 and 1V seem to be slightly later editions but are also 2/6d ! |

Subject: RE: The Geordie Song Book on EBAY From: GUEST Date: 04 Jan 06 - 03:01 PM Yes, stirling work from Conrad. GUEST ArtP, you should start a new thread and ask specifically for the navy songs, I'm sure it will get a better response than it will in here. Jude, sorry I was unable to meet up in August .. I got sick and was laid low for much of my trip. (Didn't even get to see John Dixon) Next time, eh? |
