Heard this on the radio and would like to find it.

Anyone familiar with that? Where I could find the words, the tune ... a recording perhaps ... ?

That song is "If I Had Known". It's the first cut on the "Down In There" album. A brilliant song.

Greg Brown's label is Red House Records. Unfortunately, they have only limited information at their Web site. You can find the album and a sound clip at CDNOW.
