You all know where it is and what it is by now, but I will go and get the map link in a minute.

Anyway, I have had 3 requests in the pub tonight to run a session in January although I was planning on taking January off.

So who fancies one?

Rules slightly changed for this one.

1. I am fed up with making spare beds so bring your sleeping bags. Beds can be used as bases, if I have too many sleepovers bring your lilos too.

2. My vegetarian food makes Jeff sick so either there will be meat or chicken in the chilli stoo, or alternatively there may not be any chilli stoo so you will have to go home Sunday lunchtime to eat or eat the SUPERB and HUGE sunday lunches Sally the landlady in the pub does, concessionary prices for folkers who book them IN ADVANCE to give her time to lay in stocks.

3. The guest real ale in the pub at the moment is Courage Best 'cos Sally was getting complaints that the Old Speckled Hen was too strong (now what the folk could have made anyone think that?), but it's well served and a nice session beer at a strength that you can drink all night (or for quite a long time anyway) without it producing the effect of a full frontal lobotomy.

4. I want to know generally who is coming or it won't run.

On the plus side Jacqui's Hagstrom is now refretted and set up by Graham Noden and is playing and sounding the way it used to before Andy Perkins f***ed it up (sort of Martin-y without the jangle and rounder), and I also have another identical one, also set up by Graham, that sounds much more Gibson-y, to go with the ladder frame one that sounds like Robert Johnson ought to be playing it. All I need now is the ability!

We'd just like to say "There is nothing wrong with Speckled Hen. Especially the fifth pint- according to Trevor. I can understand the logic of drinking Courage Best - if you only want one.

The new rules seem much fairer - less work for Richard, and meat in the chilli sounds good. We may turn up for a few hours.

Tomorrow's the day I have my Angioplasty, so I may well have to rephrase all my songs to allow for having the ability to sing whole lines on a single breath. Should be interesting.

Saturdays are looking much better for me now, as we are no longer running that empty bus all night.
So it is quite on the cards that you may be inflicted with myself for the whole evening, AND if the old girl decides she wants to hoof a bit, she may soften the infliction ! ! !
