Subject: RE: Seeking info on 1970s band Travis From: GUEST,BigDaddy Date: 16 Aug 15 - 09:23 PM David Eversole had a lot of blonde hair, Laura. He also did some amazing work as half of the "Irish and Eversole" duo with Mike Irish. There is an audio recording on YouTube called "Mike Irish & Mike Eversole at the Back Seat Saloon 1- 13- 83" if you'd like to give a listen. There is also a poor quality video on YouTube of those guys (in their Michigrass incarnation) as well. |

Subject: RE: Seeking info on 1970s band Travis From: GUEST,Laura Date: 15 Aug 15 - 11:15 PM Loved their band. Would love to see a reunion with any members still living - no matter how they rearranged the group, the music was ALWAYS good, and they were nice. The Eversole Brothers were with them for awhile (same time as Shar, I think). One of the Eversoles plays with 50 Amp Fuse, and I'd like to know if the other is still playing, and where. (And which one had all that blonde hair?) |

Subject: Seeking info on 1970s band Travis From: GUEST,BigDaddy Date: 11 Jan 06 - 10:36 AM In the mid 1970s there was a band called Travis who played around southeastern Michigan as well as Colorado. Their repertoire consisted of original songs as well as lots of Jackson Brown and Eagles covers. The members were John Stevenson, Robin MIller and Dave Thompson. They released one self-titled album in 1975. They were sometimes joined by an amazing talent named Shar (pronounced Share) Archambeau. What a voice she had! Anyway, I was wondering whether anyone out there remembered them, knew whatever became of them, etc. Cheers! |
