A chance to catch an early outing of the shiny new Faustus.

Paul Sartin & Benji Kirkpatrick, fellow members of both bellowhead and the late Dr. Faustus, are joined by Saul Rose, well known for his work with Waterson:Carthy and the Kings of Calicutt. Cutting-edge English music, on melodeon, fiddle, oboe and various fretted things accompanied by great singing and thrilling harmonies.

This is the band's third public outing, the first in Corsham prompted the following comments from the organisers:

"Faustus exceeded even our highest expectations. The arrangements were crisp and musical; the material was by turns joyful and moving; the presentation was both exuberant and committed; but above all, the chemistry - the sense of connection with each other, the material and the audience created a rare and precious atmosphere, the memory of which will live with us for a very long time. First gig? These three were together in a previous life and long may they continue in this one!" Sandy & Graham Ball. Folk at the Oak, Corsham.

Hope to see some of you there!

Kate.
