We have tickets to sell. Tickets will be available on the door as well. Doors to the concert room open at 7-45pm so it would be advisable to be there in good time. First band on is at 8-30pm which may or may not be us (to be decided on the night).

We (Shoot the Crow ) did that comp a couple of years ago and had a good time...and u got a dvd of your set which was 'interesting' to watch and groan at afterwards!...good luck fellas, don't think we can make it to support you, unfortunately, but you should have a good time. Anyone who hasn't heard you and can get there should do so cos you sounded great when we heard u. Plus, you have an original sound which is rare nowadays. The more people u take with you , the more votes it gave u when we played. (Guess it means they sell more beer!)

Will it be a non smoking event? I am afraid (no i'm not) I do not go to events where people are smoking due to health reasons.

Wether I go or not, I am sure harriWattsband will do very well, from what I saw at Market Rasen Folk Club and the very good feedback I got from the audience. Good luck guys.

Is them there CARA bouys entering cus theym a good band as well.

Being original in this day and age is not easy. The competion only allows bands to play self-penned music. 36 bands will compete over 12 heats, hoping to reach the semi-finals and then progress to the prize money offered in the grand final. Most of the bands entered play some form of rock music which, of course, harriWattsband do not. Making us a little bit different from 't rest tha knows. If you want to strike a blow for folk/jazz/blues then come and support us on Wednesday, 1st February. Tickets are best bought in advance as these events have proved very popular in the past. Please pm Sttaw Legend for your tickets (or me if you're really desperate!). Remember don't pay 'Tout' prices at the door!

Springhead Pub, Aston Road, Willerby, Nr Hull, will be having a Best Original Band "BOB" competition again this year with various heats from February onwards.

First heat is February 1st and we are playing in it, so if you would like to go we would very much welcome your support
