Banjist, guitarier, concertinist, troubadour, folk journalist, publisher of The Friendship Letter,
(PO Box 278; Friendship, ME 04547) scholar and a guy who can sing 55 verses of "Tam Lin" to
an audience and get away with it (he must know something about ballad-singing.)

[He says, "'Tam Lane' (as I learned it) takes about 25 minutes to sing. (I only do it about once every
3 or 4 years, usually around Halloween.) I once sang it in a ballad "workshop" at a festival in England.
Hamish Henderson was sitting next to me; when I finished, he looked at me and said, 'Too fast.'"]

Not her apartment though.
I'd venture it had some effect on the social thinking of the man
