I came across this site the other day which people might conceivably find useful. It's a free site that allows you to send files up to 1gb (gigabyte) to someone with an email address. Most of us have an upper limit of something like 10mb on attachments to email and music files are soooo big.

You upload the file (no eamil address needed etc) and it will send a link to the other party and they can download it. The file will stay there for a week. I think there is a free subscribe beta version which offers some extras too.

And that's it. I can't really see a downside and can just see it could be useful in certain circumstances.

I had been speaking to a guy in the States last month and we were trying to work out a way for me to send him a 150mb file without resorting to snail mail and struggled to find a way at the time so we abandoned the project. It would have been useful for that.
