The Project Begins.

Tonight (this morning) we took the first few steps of a grand plan to Fix the Mudcat. We have many more to go, but tonight we installed a new router, a new primary server, and a new ADSL modem. We also phased out 2 computers on the network that will be reformated and used for, among other things, redundancy, backup and mirror, all designed to approach 100% uptime, safety and reliability.

We are also working very hard on repairing the damage from the crash, namely the missordered threads and duplicates.

If we're up when I awake, I will be satisfied with this nights work. I will keep you informed of our progress.

Thanks for the blood,sweat, and tears that goes into keeping Mudcat rolling. I've been having some little hasseles with my personal computer which is just a wee reminder of what you must go through to keep Mudcat operating and running well.   This is the only such site I have on my regular computer tour because, in part of the wonderful assembleges of information here, but also very largely due to the way it is managed and organized. You and Mudcat are greatly appreciated.
