For those who wish to hear a tremendous voice delivering a variety of songs, from trad, contemporary through to a bit of music hall,Hilary Spencer is appearing at Kiveton Park Folk Club next Tuesday 14th Feb.
Hilary was the vocal powerhouse of the now-disbanded Artisan and has great natural talent and a warm stage presence. Kick-off will be at 8.30. There's free tea and coffee for the non-imbibers, a cheap bar for the boozers, free grub in the break and a really friendly crowd of regulars. All welcome. Brilliant! Hilary is always great fun (as well as a great voice) and Kiveton â€" in addition to good folks & atmosphere â€" has the best "grub" of any folk club I know (and it's free as well). I'll definitely make an effort to be there.
