Hi. was not quite sure what to name this thread, but it's as close as i could get i suppose..... I have recently visited Armagh in N.Irl, (lovely town and people) but while i was there i partook in a lovely session in a pub, where singers were galore. There were a few staunch political songs, but interspaced between more lighthearted, humourous songs of the north, The Fenian Record Player being one.. ANYWAY.. a song was sung listing all the abreviations for the partys and groups that are found up north in bucketloads, and consisted alsmost entirely of these. The L.D.F - I.R.A. D.U.P - U.D.A - and so on and on and on. It was the stroke of a master whoever wrote it, and i just wonder has anyone here got the lyrics, or heard the same song. It Covered "both sides" so could not be considered predominantly republican or loyalaist either. That's why, I think, I like it. and so out into the mudcat plains goes yet another nosset.......
