Need to Locate: Hines Point Publishing (?)

I am seeking information on the publishing house Hines Point Publishers from Vineyard Haven MA 02568. They are not listed in current yellow pages.
I am presenting a workshop at the Australian National Folk Festival this coming Easter on William Litten's Fiddle tunes as arranged by Gale Huntington and published by them in 1977 and wish to get permission to reproduce the booklet.

I'm guessing that Huntington may have self-published the book using the name "Hines Point Publishers." As far as I can tell, that's the only book the company ever published. I wonder if you might be able to get help from the Gale Huntington Research Library at Martha's Vineyard. Huntington's Songs the Whalemen Sang was reissued recently - published by Mystic Seaport Museum, which may be able to help you figure out how to get permission to republish a Huntington book.
According to the local newspaper, the Dukes County Intelligencer, Gale Huntington died early in 1994, and his wife Mildred died in November, 2003.

You can hear Gale Huntington sing a couple cuts on the New World CD titled Brave Boys: New England Traditions in Folk Music, produced and recorded by Sandy Paton.

I suspect you're right, Joe, and that Gale published the book himself. Your leads in the above post are better than I could have some up with. We could ask Joe Hickerson to do a bit of sleuthing for us. His contacts at the library of Congress are well preserved. I'll send him a quick e-pistle, but I can't predict when he might be back at home and able to check on the matter for us. He's busier than ever, now that he's retired.

I think Gale Huntington may have 'self-published' a few of his books:

An Introduction to Martha's Vineyard and a Guided Tour of the Island Oak Bluffs, Mass.: Printed for the Publisher by Martha's Vineyard Print. Co., 1969 - sounds rather like a small production, as does:

Vineyard Tales. (Martha's Vineyard, Mass.: Tashmoo Press, c1980).

I think his daughter Emily Huntington Rose may be his "literary executor", as she approved the 2005 reprint of Songs the Whalemen Sang by Mystic Seaport (maritime museum).
