Any tips on where to stay or what goes on starting with Friday evening would be greatly appreciated. Advice for beginner on a 48 key English is also welcome. Thanks. The doryman. |

Subject: RE: Northeast Concertina Workshop April 8th From: AllisonA(Animaterra) Date: 09 Mar 06 - 05:54 AM I'll be there! It's a great lineup including our own Anglo!), which you can check out at the Button Box site here. I'm not so great at recommending accomodations, but if you follow the blue clicky, the site has some to suggest. |

Subject: RE: Northeast Concertina Workshop April 8th From: adventure Date: 09 Mar 06 - 07:17 PM Hey Barry, Missed you in Portland last weekend. John was at his best and the company was just perfect. Great time. No doo wop though. Well, maybe a few. I caught drift of this workshop during the week. My dorymate Jo looks like she'll be attending...and I'll skulk about the neighborhood and maybe slide into a few places to visit during the day. She's really doing well on her learning experience with her English with only 6 months of practice....if she can match this to her flute playing she'll have two aces up her sleeve. Checked out the website...need to make some selections and find a place to stay. Could sleep in the woods, I suppose...done that many times. Not many big waves or sails in this part of the state. If any player has any special websites, methods, suggestions for English 48 key please let us know your favorite sites or best learning materials. Anglo, if you happen to have any advice please send us off an email....you have our address. Thanks and clear sailing. Doryman and his mate. |
