WinterFest in Middlesbrough

I'm in a drumming circle (play on the djembe). We perform at occasional events in the area. Our next one is at the WinterFest in Middlesbrough, on Sunday. We're called the Tees Valley World Drummers. I think this event sounds so cool! Rock on!

Thank you Purple Foxx! I'm not sure how much my drumming circle activities help my storyskilling skills but they certianly give me a lot of performance experience, and a glimpse of other cultures. I get to see things that I would never think of if I was only going to folk clubs. It's geat fun too!

Great to someone else from Middlesbrough here. The Sunday afternoon event is free. Why don't you pop along? That's the one I'm drumming in. Our drum leader is African. I'm not too sure about the evening event - it is ticketed but I was able to get a free ticket for it. Middlesbrough Town Hall box office would know I'm sure.

No, it hasn't been publicised very well, has it? Though I expect there will be something in the evening paper about it.

I think Transgolobal are practising their mean and moody look!!! Very bluesy - and not one bit like my Tees Valley World Drummers who are a very happy crew!

South Bank, no. I'm from Middlesbrough. But was born in Preston, Lancashire (just to confuse everyone!!)
