Hi,

In 1989 Helen Holt, of Dingles Records, published a song of mine (called "Hunger in the soul"). Since then, until quite recently, I've been out of the loop, music-wise. But I am now songwriting again and I would like to get in contact with Helen to send her some of my new material(hoping she is still in the music publishing/recording business). So, if anyone has any contact information for Helen I'd be very grateful if they could pass it on to me.

David Wheat

Also, does Dingle's records still exist?

Where were they from? I know several Holt families here in the US who are all musicians. Could they be the same? One is in CA, one in OH and one in Utah. they are all related.

I think they used to live in Edgeware, Middlesex and then they moved to the West Country.

Think I found a mention of YOUR Roger Holt on this webpage:

A Dossan of Heather

If it's your fella, contact the author of the article or the webmaster and they should be able to help you.

I think I've only seen Roger and Helen once since they left London, and that was at Sidmouth many years ago.

John Heydon (who used to run the Herga Folk Club and still runs Haddenham Ceilidhs and Dragon Records, as well as being the accountant for many professional folk performers) might be able to help though - I'll pass the message on to him.

Kitty
