The group will be appearing on Thursday, 23rd March at the Dorchester Hotel, Beverley Road, Hull, East Yorkshire (Tamworth suite). The evening will be hosted by harriWattsband and there will be a special guest appearance by Flamenco Ted. Doors open at 7-45pm, food available between 8pm and 9pm (included within ticket price of £5), and the music starts at 9pm. If you are familiar with The Doghouse Skiffle Group (www.skiffledogs.co.uk) then you'll know this is excellent value for money. Tickets available at the door or ring [phone] (Hotel) for availability. Last night the Doghouse lads had the audience in stitches. It made for a fine opening night for 'Music Exchange' and included a classy opening set from Flamenco Ted who was very warmly received. The atmosphere at this new venue was excellent and end of evening comments suggests that hosts 'harriWattsband' will continue to present these monthly events for the long term. Thanks to all those who attended. The £5 ticket price included a selection of well prepared curries with rice and chips plus great entertainment on stage. Good value in deed. Announcements on next month's event will follow soon on a new thread. PS, look out for the Doghouse Skiffle Group the next time they're in your area. You won't be disappointed.

That was the best night Penny and I have had in Hull. The highlight was Caveman Shorts bass playing by a mile.

Last weekend The Caveman played with two other bands at the Dorchester Hotel. Paul, the manager, has him on his pay-roll as a session musician and a food taster! You looked and sounded excellent in the spotlight Ted. We must do it again sometime!
