Seems to be a rather well-kept secret when this is happening. I thought this looks very very interesting, but a quick ggogle has not revealed this crucial bit of info. Plenty of references to when it was in 2004 and 2005, but I coulnt find a date for 2006.
Come back Mark Davies!

The first "Bradfield" weekend was part of the English Country Music Weekend series. That was so succesful - fine weather and great beer helped, that a second was held last year.

Come along, it should be great fun again. There are pubs with sessions as part of the weekend, but if I said nearby this would be relative. The venue has the best views in the area, but it is high up and "pubs nearby" does not mean walking or staggering distance. Not for me anyway. The fitter amongst you may manage.

It will, but only if you bear in mind that Mark Davies calls it 'The Third Bradfield Traditional Music Weekend' rather than 'Bradfield Traditional Music Weekend 2006'. See the first message in this thread, which is copied directly from Mark's email handout.

All the details Mark has given me can be found online at

http://www.folk-network.com/events/2006/bradfield_06.html

together with a printable booking form (rtf format). The page is recent and not yet linked to from other sites; Google's crawlers don't seem to have found it yet.

Sadly, it's the same weekend as Saltburn FF and I'm booked to run workshops there.

It is definitely the 2005 that is wrong and the dates are correct. No doubt Malcolm will read this and correct it.
