Yes its this Saturday April 1st. Cant make it ourselves as we're supposed to be in 'Udddersfield so have a good one.

We are on a pre booked Hull CAMRA trip to explore the real ale estrablishments of the 'Udd. Leaving Hull @ 6 so should be there about 7.30.

Pity we cant split ourselves in 2 as we would like to be in Whitby as well, but there you go.

Weel, we have just done Barnseys gig on wednesday night, Vicky Vaults Thursday, and t'nite at the tap & spile, tomorrow er today would be pushing it, and yes, to the sheep bit, we are planning to come mob handed! It might have to be the autumn cos we are all away doing other stuff, Ron is NYC on business, Martin and I are going to run by our spouses the idea that we joined him for a long weekend (some hope!)

For those that have been wondering, the regular Tuesday evening session is still on augmented by a session on the first Saturday of the month.

Last night it was asked if we were doing anything for Moor and Coast so we arranged an extra session on the Saturday evening that weekend.

FILO stands for the sessions at The First Inn Last Out drinking establishment in Whitby North Yorkshire in the UK.

The FILO is in Fishburn Park, the area behind the railway station I think the address is York Terrace but I'm not 100% on that, litttle back street pub, not particularly attractive in itself but the current licensees like their predecessor are very much in favour of us playing there which in itself is a great bonus. The landlady makes sandwiches for the assembled company on the night and they are both friendly folk, generally a good night is had by all.

York Terrace doesn't seem to appear on maps as it is tiny, extending to about 5 buildings. The front door to the private quarters of the FILO is beside the bay window opening onto York Terrace, and there is actually a street sign for the terrace on that wall of the pub.
