Damn, I gather that's Nottingham, England, not Nottingham, New Hampshire USA where Curmudgeon and I live.

Go see and hear her, people! She's great and you'll enjoy the show immensely!

(Buy her CDs, too!)

Linn

It would be wonderful to see folks in Nottingham. I'll be doing quite a bit of traveling around in the next week or so. If you do come out, please say hello.

As for Nottingham, NH...Linn I am working on getting up there. :-)

Thanks for all the kind words.

Debra

Deb, better stick to Portsmouth, NH -- there isn't a lot in Nottingham, NH except Liar's Paradise convenience store and gas station, school, town hall and police and fire station. Oh, we've got a nudist colony. And the town dump has a website!

And (as I just mentioned on another thread) Tom and I got "in trouble" a couple years ago at the town local talent concert when Tom sang "Paddy West" and didn't change "her mate is a bastard" to "her mate is the offspring of an unwed mother" (or something like that).

No, come to a party at our place (or our Fourth of July festivities between 7 & 9 a.m.), but otherwise stick to The Press Room or the Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival.

Linn

I agree with me. Deb is great - and will buy anybody a pint.
