I really listened to Pat's Vanguard and Verve/forecast albums, over and over. I got to see him play at Amazing Grace coffeehouse in Evanston, Illinois in early 1974. Great performer and I loved his mixing of his older songs with the "Songs that Made America Famous" material. Sorry for the thread drift.

IMO, Pat is one of the finer songwriters to come down the pike, ever. He's also a very brilliant man. If this is thread drift, I wish there was more of it.

I saw Pat Sky at the University Methodist Church in Syracuse, NY in 1971. He opened for Joni Mitchell. Eric Frandsen played guitar for both of them and the tickets were $3.00.

Pat was outstanding and Joni kept forgetting her words.
