This year, by far, I heard "Thrity Pieces of Silver," and "Scarlet Purple Robe" more than any others. What did you hear?

A lot of gospel can be and has been interpreted in bluegrass style but neither originated as bluegrass or can only be interpreted as bluegrass-- so I am having trouble relating to your question. Are you looking for songs?

The Man In The Middle Was Jesus - I heard it by Hot Rise on the Radio Boogie album. Not exactly Easter, but the same season.

We just did "Three Men on a Mountain" (also known as "The Man in the Middle") at an Easter service, and it is definitely good for Easter. It's based on Luke 23 and is actually about the crucifixion rather than resurrection, but works nonetheless. As guest Jim said above, same season. We also did "Jordan."

"I Am The Man, Thomas" from Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain Boys. Right to the point. Not "popular" perhaps, but great.

There's They Rolled The Stone Away -- I've heard a great version by Molly O'Day. A similar, but different, song is Who Rolled The Stone Away -- here's a version by The Primitive Quartet

The band Sonshine Road has a song entitled I Saw Him Rise

More of a gospel song, but The Night Before Easter could be easily worked into a bluegrass song

This website has a good list, though not strictly bluegrass. list

I'll see if any others come to me as Easter comes closer
