Here are the plans for the next Ship (say it carefully) session (unless Mr Happy comes up with a free fest for that weekend).

Where the Ship Is

Usual rules. Start 8 to 8.30 pm. Drink beer. Play and sing folk. Fall over. Look incredulously at time. Sleeping bags and lilos at my house next door. Kiss dogs and cats. Wake with hangover.

Eat huge breakfast if you buy it off Sally in the Pub at a foolishly late hour. Small one if my house.

Debs - yes I think practice much needed but Jeff has not been at all well. It would probably be good if he and I just sat down and got totally consistent "guitar chugs" and then when you made the great trek we would not be wasting time....

Well, my Rachel's not home that weekend - BUT - - - I'll be in 'The Crown' in Bathford for Marko's (of Sidmouth fame) birthday celebrations, after having done a bit of touring with the carrying van from 16th. Have a good one though and I WILL make it one day.

Thanks to all who turned up. I was fearing a slack night but we had a good turnout with a number from local Morris sides and Kay's Appalachian terpsichory.

There will NOT be one in Jun (too many other good things that month) , but we will probably be returning late July
