12th 13th and 14th May; the wonderfully well-kept secret that is Wheaton Aston Folk Festival is happening again! Detais at Wheaton Aston This will be our third year in succession at this small but perfectly formed festival, and we're really looking forward to it. anyone else coming along?

I'm going, this will be my first Wheaton Aston, hope I don't get too lost!
Anyone know what the facilities are like? Most importantly are there showers so I can bring myself back to humanity of a morning?!

Hi muppitz! I didn't find any showers last year, although as you know I probably wasn't looking that hard! Couldn't even stand out in the rain, as Wheaton Aston was the only place in the country with three days of glorious sunshine. Taking my own shower this year...

is it possible to just pay for camping as 'fringers' or do we need to buy weekend fest tickets?

Hi Mr Happy! Not sure about that; probably best to drop an email to the festival organisers. There were (as I recall)other places to camp not too far away, which might be an alternative cunning plan.
