There is a movement going on in the U.S. to get back to basics by making music on instruments you make yourself. Cigar Box guitars, cookie tin banjos, washtub basses, diddlybows, and many other creative "home made instruments" can sound surprisingly good. The music covers the gamut from folk to primative rock to Mississippi Delta Blues. I'll be supporting some of the best CBG musicians on the East Coast (with the excepetion of Shane Speal who is laying back from performing for a while) on my washtub bass.

So, If you are in the South Jersey, Philadelphia, Wilmington area be sure to Stop by the Cigar Box Guitar and Back Porch Music Fest this Friday Night in Collingswood NJ. Here are the details:
