Subject: eminant domain From: Date: 14 Feb 99 - 06:38 PM Does anyone know how to find out whether a copywrite on a song has expired. I play in a contest in Avoca Iwoa each year and the songs selected must not be copywrited material. Thanks |

Subject: RE: eminant domain From: katlaughing Date: 15 Feb 99 - 12:12 AM I am guessing here, but I would think a good place to start would be at www.loc.gov/copyright/ which is the Library of Congress website for copyrights. Some things can be searched for on-line. But, I think most you will have to contact them about. I'm sure someone on the Mudcat has more of an answer; this isjust a suggestion on my part. Good luck, katlaughing |
