Subject: English Tapestry From: GUEST,Peter Date: 10 May 06 - 05:25 PM I am looking for recordings of English Tapestry, an unaccompanied group from the 70s and 80s, Ruth and Brian Brittain and another, variable. They only recorded two tracks officially, for The First Folk Review Record, but I have a number of recordings made during performances, and would like to hear from anyone-else who has anything similar. You can contact me on pftaylor@ntlworld.com. |

Subject: RE: English Tapestry From: GUEST,Peter Date: 12 May 06 - 04:58 AM Thanks to all the responders. I have kept in touch with Ruth and Brian over the years, and saw them only last Tuesday. They are not performing, and haven't for some long time. Their major problem was always getting a suitable third member. This is why I am trying to accumulate material. I will try to follow up the Folk on 2 lead, and if Leadfingers would like to contact me via email we could explore that side further. |
