This great instrumental music camp is happening again in Northern Vermont June (11th through 17th. Details on faculty, genres, instruments,and some rave reviews are on the website. http://www.langston.com/NHMC/ There's still room for more folks.

I went last year and had a blast, learned a lot and am headed back for more Quebecois fiddling, Irish Fiddling, Sweedish Fiddling, contra dancing, playing til all hours, and concerts by amazing players.

Too bad it isn't available to public school teachers! I'll be teaching for another week after that!

That is a problem I'm hoping they can address in future years. I've been trying to talk my friend Doug into calling in sick for the week.

See you at Old Songs though, with some of the same folks. Ken Perlman and Alan Jabbour, as well as David Kaynor will be at Old Songs as well as camp.

yeah! A cast of brilliant musicians! And some of them are Old Songs performers!

It's not too bad here. Have you washed away, or are you in danger of it? It's rained lightly here today, but there's a flood watch. No sun in sight until Thursday.
