Urgent research topic in connection with biographical research:

Does anyone have information on Paul Clayton's appearance on the Dave Garroway Show, probably in 1959?

It was due to his "Gotta Travel On" being a #1 hit for Billy Grammer; he was temporarily folksinger-of-the-hour.

I will be most grateful if anyone can furnish the date of that show, and any details about the show's content.

A quick look says that in 1959 it was called the Today Show. I will dig around later, Bob.

I've looked and looked and haven't found anything, Bob.
But while we're on the subject, I just bought Paul Clayton's "Unholy Matrimony" from ccmusic.com, and and it's a good one.
