I ran into this guy busking on the waterfront in Victoria BC the other night. He was awesome! Anyone know his music? I'll put up some links...Is he a mudcatter?

Slim plays for us every year at the Great Canadian Beer Festival in Victoria B.C. as well frequently appearing busking around town. He's an excellent bluesman and one-man band he's a familiar sight to Victorians. He also plays in a a band that does a fairly regular gig at the James Bay Inn. An he's a nice feller, too.

Hi there,

Just returned from a Blues Workshop on West Coast of BC (Canada). I've known Dave off and on for a few years and he was my instructor for harmonica portion of workshop. His instruction was excellent, hiw knowledge of blues (especially early blues) is phenomenal. He has quite a number of CDs out (two new one this year, as well as others from past). Seems to be able to play just about everything :)   and is a wonderful person.

Cheers,
Dean

Well, nice to find this thread! Thanks everyone. Just to note, if anyone ever comes here again - the address given on the posted sites are old and incorrect. I have a large Youtube channel - DslimHarris where one can see my act and other buskers/bands/friends. In the favourites are well over 500 one man band clips, relating to my book in progress on one man bands. I have a Myspace site daveharrisonemanband and am on Facebook. I continue to busk for a living (over 33 years now) and do a few gigs, festivals and workshops.
