Billy Preston toured Australia in the '60s with Ray Charles, and in the '70s as a solo act (absolutely solo, just him and a Hammond Organ with two Leslie Speakers). I also saw him with James Cleveland in Detroit in '77, and finally met him in New Orleans in 2000 (pic at my website, access though Google) |
