There is an Irish session/performance in the Adam and Eve on the Uxbridge Road in Hayes on Sunday evenings from 7-9 ish. Not exactly a folk club but the music is good, there's quite a lot of singing and floor singers are welcome. But it's (a) amplified and (b) very Irish.

That Adam and Eve session will be Hayes, Middx, UK, then, (not Hayes in Kent, UK). If there's anything folky happening in Hayes, Middx, I'd expect Leadfingers to know about it......

I will check the Adam and Eve out and let you know - I tend to be at The Tap in Brentford on a Sunday !!
Last time there was a 'Hayes Folk Club' it was in the Angel , but that was more than thirty years ago !!

Hayes Folk Club was I believe started at the Angel Hayes End Middx in August 1969 by Gavin Blackmore and Ross Everett.
The Strawbs and Bridget St John played there along with many local folk singers. Don't know when it ended........

Oh! No help about the question, but I was born in Hayes Middx just after the war, and the Adam and Eve pub was there even then. There were loads of Irish people who lived on our estate (including my mother, from Cork)
Haven't been back since the late fifties!
