apparently Dan Mckinnon has beeen playing support at some of Eric's gigs this tour as a consequence of their meeting at Martyn Windham -R's La jeusinear or other, songwriting week during Whitsun.

seems the two of them have hit it off! In the musical admiration way

Brilliant performers, both Eric and John - very gifted both with words and music. And so nice with it! First time seeing them in 'the flesh', but hope it won't be the last time. Hope those kids at Cassies recognised and appreciated their luck at having them there.

His last song was "And the band played Waltzing Matilda" and at the end of it the air was charged with a kind of electricity and I felt I was popping a magic bubble by getting up and drawing the raffle.

Did he do 'Safe In The Harbour'? He did that one a few years agao at The Renfrew Ferry for me and occasional 'Guest:Moagy' when we were on our sailing trip to St. Kilda. Great memories.
