Has anyone got the lyrics to a song that I think is on a compilation album, featuring the Albion Band & Cathy Lesurf. It begins with "Now is the time we've watched & waited on. Strong arms will gather in what hope has sown." I think the album had an environmental theme. I'd be grateful for any info. on the author or source.

Pat, I'm sorry I don't know this song (I was thinking of a Dick Farina song). You are repeating the same request you made in a separate thread just yesterday. Threads are archived - for two years as far as I'm aware - so it's usually better to 'refresh' an old thread than to start a new one. If the thread is very recent you can set the screen to show a list of threads for the past 3 or 7 days, as appropriate and click the 'refresh threads' box. If it's not so new, you can usually find your old thread by doing a 'forum search' (click on those words on the main screen and you'll get further instructions)

I have to say I'm not sure about the last line of the second verse - it's all I could pick out on my recording but it doesn't sound quite right.

Last line of the second verse:
"But Love in the darkness takes a trust that's strong."
From the Live at the Cambridge Fold Festival disc.

I don't have the studio version of this, so I can't compare them.

In the first line "we have" is contracted to "we've".
Start of the second verse is "Blind sight", not "Hindsight". I had to listen to that one a lot of times to be convinced, but convinced I am.
"When" is missing from the third line of the second verse.

those last two lines in the second verse, on The Wild Side Of Town recording. are indeed

"When reason fails and waiting is so long,
Love in the dance takes a trust that's strong"

such a great song!!
