I find the 'chordpro' notation is a lot easier than trying to figure out how the other notation is gonna format.

Here's the version I work with:

Like I Used To Do
Tim O'Brien & Pat Alger 1990

verse 1:
There was a (D)time when we'd be the (G)last to leave
Watching the (A7)sun come up while everyone (D)fell asleep
The music was (D)always loud and I'd smoke and (G)drink too much
Until I'd fall (A7)in your arms and into your (D)lovin' touch
Now as the (G)years roll by, time has (D)reeled me in
I've slowed down a (A7)notch or two from the way things were (D)then

chorus:
Those old ways of (G)mine, I've left them be-(A7)hind
Those crazy (G)days are (D)through
The only thing I still (G)do like I used to (A7)do
Is carry this (G)torch for (D)you

verse 2:
I remember the days when we'd pack our bags and run
Chasing a crazy dream into the morning sun
Now as the twilight falls, I find I'm satisfied
Watching the fire glow as long as you're by my side
Here in my heart it seems, time has passed me by
I love you as much today as the very first time

repeat chorus

bridge:
(G)I still want you the way I wanted you (D)then
If I could (A7)do it all over, I'd do it all over a-(D)gain

repeat chorus

OOPS the chord pattern is probably ok the the formatting seems to have moved all the letters to the left any how you will know when to change chords if you have heard it enough have fun Mark

Can'f find the chords. Maybe someone who knows the song will use the first stanza and the chorus (refrain) to fill 'em in.

I would love to get a chord progression for this song , which I have heard on an album by Sean Keane (No Stranger). I believe it was written by Tim O'Brien ? Can anyone help ? It isn't in the archive.
