I'm going to be in the White Mtns. for a week, (North Conway) and wondered if there are any instrument dealers in that area that anyone knows of. Thank you, J. Grumby

I'd 'o said Vintage Fret Shop also. It's right off I-93. I forget the exit #, but it says "Ashland."

Us Woodchucks have an outdoor gig Saturday evening, the 15th, in North Woodstock at the gazebo, a freebie, if you're going to be there then.

Friendly River in Fryberg Maine just across the border from NH. Don't know if they are still in business.

Fryeburg, Maine, is indeed quite close to North Conway (5 miles or less?), but I think Friendly River Music is actually in Hiram, ME, about 13 miles further. Haven't actually been there myself, though.

Thanks for the info. Vintage Frets looks like a great place but I'm afraid it's a bit too far. Fryeburg might work. Midchuck, have a great gig. N. Woodstock is kinda in the wrong direction and we'll be just getting in late sat. I would have been there otherwise.

I think there's still a Sundy Irish Session at May Kelly's Cottage in Conway. Sometime in the afternoon, possibly 4 -7 I also have a freind who summers on Conway Lake and comes back here every week for our Tuesday jam session in Montpelier VT.
