Nice to see a yoof promoting a folk club Sarah :-)

Hope to meet you at BOMFest's acoustic stage. Come and say hello if you spot the girl with the yellow guitar and bald sound engineer!

Hi,

A bit of a change form a normal Monday night, we've got 3 new acts lined up this week (instead of the usual one or none). There will still be an opportunity for open mic and a short music session from 8 to 8:45, so if you're curious about what we do then Monday would be a good day to come and say hello. Entrance is free, although we put the hat around at some point.

Appearing will be Penistone singer Zoë Bottomley, (at least one half of) Duo Slow Club, and Banjo Player James Meadows.

Zoë sings traditional and contemporary songs by artistes such as Neil Young and Kate Rusby, accompanied by her Dad, Dave on Guitar.

Slow Club are from Sheffield who are making quite a name for themselves across the city with original material in a unique Indie-Folk style.

James Meadows is a talented young banjo player who plays traditional tunes.

Entrance is free, although we put the hat around at some point. Upstairs room, the Shaw Inn, Racecommon Rd, Barnsley

Hope to see you soon,

Sarah

BFC
