Outstanding performers. For all catters in the flat lands they are appearing at The Barn, Baston, South Lincs on Thursday 25 November. One not to miss, but you should ring Alan or Maggie on 01778 560497 before you travel as their events are usually sold out. Me and Mrs Bear will be there.

I rectified a long standing omission last night when I saw Anahata and Mary at the 2nd Time Around folk club in Nottingham.
I concur with all the wonderfully positive comments above. An excellent evening by two talented people bringing a flavour of the Fens, and a hint of Welsh too. They are performing in Huddersfield tonight (Sat 20th). Highly recommended.

Brad

Saw Mary Humphries and Anahata at Saddleworth Folk Fest this weekend and would recommend them wholeheartedly. Lovely singing and great musicianship, well worth listening to. Can't get to this club because it's not my neck of the woods but I would advise that anyone who is nearby goes along to get an earful of these guests.Wonderful.

All the best

Les

Mary Humphrey and Anahata are a MUST to see. I wish we could be there (they are 'cobbers' from our previous life in the South). Their folk music knowledge is a legend in itself.

Sadly we will be away so we'll miss it.

Kiveton Park FC is an excellent club. Be insulted in style!!!
(it's OK, Andy, I'm only teasing - I think)

For the benefit of any South Yorkshire folkies who may not have heard, or read of this impending visit, Mary Humphreys and Anahata will be appearing at Kiveton Park Folk Club next Tuesday, 1st August.A brill night promised with lots of trad. English (and some Welsh) music and song, accompanied on concertina, melodeons, banjo and cello (but not all at the same time 'cos there's only two of them!) Should be a good do! Free grub in the break, cheap bar, a really friendly crowd, great atmosphere and Mary and Anahata to entertain and inspire you. All welcome. Kick-off approx. 8.45. See yer there!

Regards

Andy
