Subject: RE: Anyone going to White Horse FF? From: GUEST Date: 20 Aug 06 - 11:45 PM from leadfingers Who was the Lady with the Cello ? Made a WORLD of difference to the sound ! She is Linda Benton. She and her husband (Geoff on mandolin/guitar) are frequently at sessions in and around the Long Wittenham/Wallingford area. She also has some connection with a ceilidh band - either the Mad Hatters or Tumbledown Dick, can't be sure which one just now. It was great sesh on Friday; though I was not exactly popular when I got home about two hours late! Crucible - fab. |
