Guess what I've been doing today.

Yesterday mornin, walked out in my garden fair
Yesterday mornin walked out into that garden there
Looked at the flowers, they was bloomin everywhere.

Went over to smell one, I think it was a ramblin rose
Went over to smell one, yes it was a big old ramblin rose.
In the minute that I stood there, Bermuda grass grew through my toes

bridge (I think)
Now I don't know about you but with weeds I is mean
I be one of those types likes to keep my garden clean
O-oOh, I got them ol, them ol Bermuda grass blues

Next verse?

I don't think Bermoody grass (as my father used to call it) grows in Minnesota, where I live now. But crabgrass sure does, and creeping Charlie and dandelions. But nobody is thinking of that now, with 2 feet of snow on the ground.

Too bad this thread was missed when it was new. I hope Janie doesn't mind my refreshing it now.
