just (literally) over the river from Wallingford (which has the Wallingford Bunkfest fri 1st - sun 3rd september 2006) is Crowmarsh Gifford where I found a Jethro Tull Close - & it was 50 yds from a blue plaque proclaiming that the JT who died in 1741 and invented the horse-drawn seed drill, lived in a tiny black & white cottage "here". OK who thought this was a con? Hands up. I can't get to the Wallingford Bunkfest despite the woderful collection of ceilidhs because I can get to the Didmarton Bluegrass Festival in about 20 minutes and may just be there.
