New Skiffle Group requires a name

Subject: New Skiffle Group requires a name From: Bugsy Date: 22 Aug 06 - 11:27 PM A bunch of us are putting together a Skiffle group with the aim of performing at the National Folk Festival in Canberra next Easter. Trouble is, we can't think of a name and we have to get the application in by 30th of the month. We'd like the name to reflect the fact that we come from Perth, Western Australia, and/or the fact that we're all in our 50/60's. Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted. Thinking caps on! That'll draw a crowd. Once. Let us know what you decide. Also, this process might make a good story for your local newspaper. I bet you're getting suggestions from all over the world on Mudcat. One thing was "to trust adults." By this she meant that the kid should not be so isolated and overprotected that it curls up in a ball when a staff member says hello. A child should also have the brains and confidence to turn to a nearby adult if injured, sick or frightened. I suggest you name your band "Trusted Adults." |
