I'm trying to put together an accoustic trio, in North County, San Diego, CA, and I'm have a dickens of a time finding people. If anyone knows of anyone, musician or not, who might like to be in a fun group, please pass this message along.
Thanks

Jacks O'Lantern started as a Halloween band, to play at pumpkin patches, cornfield mazes and for people standing in line at haunted houses. The concept has grown to include pirate-themed parties, cowboy campfires, and much more. We present sing-along, campfire music in a lively and entertaining style; playing a colorful mixture of cowboy songs, sea chanteys, railroad tunes, and jug-band ditties that you'll find impossible to resist.

We're looking for musicians, or singers, to fill out the trio. Whether you're a virtuoso violinist, bang two rocks together, or just sing in the shower - if you like singing salty songs, telling ribald stories, and are willing to put on an eye-patch in the name of good entertainment, then we're looking for you.

Charles, there's a SDFSS song circle in North County on the 3rd Sat. of the month, I think, and there's one in SD on the second Sunday.   I'll send your e-dress to a couple people who would be good connections to the folk music group down that-a-way. But you also might PM The Banjoest here at mudcat. He plays the [shudder!] banjo!   Also, I'm sure brother Amos has connections beyond mine in SD, since he and Hugh live there and I just visit a few times a year.

Sounds just my kinda band, pal. Let's get together.
PM me an address and place to meet and I'll come try out to be in your band. Purely an acoustic guitar player, and some vocal.

A
