Subject: RE: Loughstock, Norn Iron gathering 2007 From: Den Date: 05 Jan 07 - 04:01 PM Brendy, I thought you'd dropped off the face of the earth. Good to hear you're alive and well. Any word from Ciaran and the brother? Looks like I won't make it this year to Loughstock I'll be in Seattle and then Vancouver. Maybe next year. I'll plan for that. I'm saving me pennies for a cattle drive in Montana in September...don't ask. |
Subject: RE: Loughstock, Norn Iron gathering 2007 From: Liz the Squeak Date: 05 Jan 07 - 04:15 PM No problem Skarpi - maybe next time?! LTS |
Subject: RE: Loughstock, Norn Iron gathering 2007 From: MudGuard Date: 05 Jan 07 - 04:51 PM Paul, as I intend to stay at Hotel Draper: 17, 42, 3.1415926535, 2.7182818, 2007 (I hope these are enough numbers - if not, just tell me, I can provide more ...) ;-) Paul, a few years ago it was 48 pounds for the cab - single fare. Makes 96 pounds for the return trip. Up to 4 passengers per cab (gets very cramped then), i.e. 12 pounds per person single, 24 return. With 3 passengers it's 16 pounds single, 32 return. (plus price increasements over the last few years ...) I don't know the prices for hire cars ... |

Subject: RE: Loughstock, Norn Iron gathering 2007 From: JohnB Date: 10 Jan 07 - 10:47 PM Skarpi, what I discovered on my last trip home (I live and drive in Canada now and have done both now longer here than there) Wherever you are in the world "if you have the correct vehicle for that area" THE DRIVER SITS ON THE WHITE LINE. Give it a try, it works for me, you can also get used to it while you are at home. GOOD LUCK read the small print, I don't accept any responsibility for anything, just ask my wife, JohnB |

Subject: RE: Loughstock, Norn Iron gathering 2007 From: MudGuard Date: 21 Jan 07 - 08:13 AM Terry, you accidentally capitalized the wrong word ... IT = Information Technology. I work in IT, but I am not a pile of IT ;-) MudGuard |
Subject: RE: Loughstock, Norn Iron gathering 2007 From: Gizmo Date: 21 Jan 07 - 07:34 PM Does that mean I'm a liliputian too? Perhaps us wee little things are really leprechauns? - I certainly can be as mischevious as one - apparently! I remember a couple of years back in Hastings, Liz could just manage to lift a giant of which I couldn't. Which proved the old adage, size really can make a difference. I'm 5 foot by the way! |
Subject: RE: Loughstock, Norn Iron gathering 2007 From: MudGuard Date: 22 Jan 07 - 02:12 AM Gizmo, don't worry. Liz exaggerated, I am not 8'19". I am only 4'28" ;-) |

Subject: RE: Loughstock, Norn Iron gathering 2007 From: Gizmo Date: 22 Jan 07 - 02:20 PM That's right Liz, you giant you. At least you can honestly say that there are people out there who look up to you. |

Subject: RE: Loughstock, Norn Iron gathering 2007 From: bfdk Date: 23 Jan 07 - 05:17 PM Andy, my esteemed friend, I didn't specify any numbers, merely enquired politely whether Liz's tits are capable of singing in stereo :-)) The figure of 2 was added by your own apparently very active imagination :o)) Best wishes and see you at Portaferry, Bente |
