Subject: BS: anyone got a melodeon for sale u/k From: skipy Date: 17 Sep 06 - 05:39 PM My 14 year old has joined the local morris side & he is taking it very seriously, has danced out at a few pubs & a couple of festivals. He now wants to play! Has anyone got a D/G mel. that they want to sell, (U/K of course due to postage) Skipy. I can of course get one from Ebay (as I live on there) but if I can get the right deal from a folkie I would be happier. Skipy |

Subject: RE: BS: anyone got a melodeon for sale u/k From: mandotim Date: 19 Sep 06 - 05:03 AM Best person I can think of would be Pete Grassby here . He will supply a good box, make sure it fits the needs of the player and give first class backup and repair service if necessary. All his boxes come well set up and tuned. No financial interest, just a satisfied customer who bought a superb little accordion for a 15 year old recently. Tim |

Subject: RE: anyone got a melodeon for sale u/k From: GUEST,martin ellison Date: 16 Apr 08 - 02:59 AM Ah!! I've just noticed the date on the original posting. What a pillock. I'm assumimg that your 14 (now 16) year old has now been playing for two years, recorded with Ronan Keating, played live on "Later" with Jools and is headlining at the Proms folk day (or shouldn't I mention that . . . ) I really must pay more attention. |

Subject: RE: anyone got a melodeon for sale u/k From: Fidjit Date: 16 Nov 08 - 02:13 PM I have just made one but it's not for sale, at East Anglian Traditional Music Trust You can view mine here When you see it you'll know why it's not for sale. I'm very proud of my achievement. As I am sure the other ten on the same course with Emanuelle Parisel are. I can recommend this course. Thoroughly enjoyable to get to grips with the inside of a box. |
