...Actually, "Tammy's Waltz" was recorded by Mark O'Connor on "Pickin' In The Wind", his first full album back when he was a teenage phenom contest winner on every instrument he touched, and he'd gotten it off of an older picker, so maybe "Tammy" HAS entered tradition, even if tradition didn't quite enter Tammy (at least her mind).

(But by this time, "The TAMI Show" has entered tradition, too).

...and what ever happened to that "fissure", Eddie who dumped his former foil for Liz Taylor?

Pete used to tell his audiences of how the two hit versions actually harmonized, as a good moral to such things.

What he would say about that version, I don't know, but I hope "poor Pete" and Lee Hays got their royalty check, because some retrebutions were owed. Now I want to run out and rent Debbie in "The Singing Nun" to see what she did with THAT!

Somehow that clip managed to make love between your brothers and sisters sound as distasteful as incest.

It was taking too long to download. Part of me wanted to stick it out and see the whole thing, but I got as far as "If I had a song", and gave up. I got the idea, though, and I doubt it got better. As far as rating the video, I don't think I could. 5 stars for being really hilarious, maybe, but they might think I liked it, and that would only encourage them.
