Subject: Tune Req: Dancing master- SCD tune From: Bunnahabhain Date: 22 Sep 06 - 08:01 AM Does anyone have the ABC, dots etc for the signiture tune to the Dancing Master, a Scottish country dance. It's a quite new dance ( 5 years), and as the tune was composed for it, it should have the same name. The tune is by Kevin Lees, dance by John Drewy. Any help very welcome! PS. I can't find it via a forum search. It may be there, but if it is, it's buried under hundreds of references to Playford. This dance was written in honour of those dancing masters, and has a space in the middle for the dancing master to stand, preferably whilst being the solo fiddler they're danicg to.... |
